We are currently assisting with the recruitment of an Office Administrator for a property developer based near Newmarket. Please note that the office is situated in a fairly isolated area so candidates will need their own transport to get to and from work.
This is an autonomous role working on a 1:1 basis with the Director who is often out of the office so you must be comfortable and confident to manage the day to day operations.
Day to day duties include:
• Dealing with clients in person/on the telephone, time and diary management for the Director
• Producing weekly reports detailing income and expenditure Maintaining the offices systems by backing up emails and computer files
• Ordering and maintaining stationary and equipment supplies
• Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information.
• Raising and sending invoices to tenants, and making sure the company receives these payments
• Opening post
• Raising cheque requisition forms for invoices and writing out cheques to be signed
• Composing letters and emails
• Answering telephone calls and taking messages
• Keeping track of annual payments that need to be made for leases
Skills:
• Good communication skills including polite telephone manner
• Familiarity with programs such as Excel, Outlook and Word
• Ability to draft/write letters and emails
• Accurate and efficient keyboard skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Organisation skills
• Good IT skills
